The main focus of the website design was to ‘modernise’ the Unitarians online presence, transforming from a dated, dull appearance to something more attractive and appealing to a wider audience. Arka sought to achieve this by considering three perspectives: Maintaining and improving solutions for the existing user base. Addressing barriers preventing offline members/audience from online engagement. Targeting a new, younger, ‘trendy’ audience.

3. the unitarian magazine
The Unitarians Manchester District Association produce a monthly magazine, The Unitarian, which has been printed and circulated to subscribers for several years. This was another process to be modernised; with the goal of transitioning the magazine to an online product, with more flexibility through the option to purchase individual copies, in addition to a yearly subsciption.
